The VentMed BiPAP VM8 is an upgrade of VM7 with a higher pressure up to 30H2O, and an additional APCV feature (Assistant Pressure Control Volume). VM8 BiPAP offers a wide range of therapy modes (S, Auto S, ST, Auto ST, T, PC, CPAP, APCV) to treat different respiratory conditions, severe or mild. With an intuitively designed screen, setting major values, switching between modes, managing therapy data can be done easier than ever before.

BiPAP is a type of non-invasive ventilation that helps you breathe. If you’re not getting enough oxygen or can’t get rid of carbon dioxide, providers may use it to treat you. A machine delivers air through a mask to your face. It uses less pressure when you exhale than when you inhale.
Bilevel positive airway pressure (also known as BIPAP, or more commonly by the trade name, BiPAP) is a machine that helps you breathe. This is a type of non-invasive ventilation that providers may use if you can breathe on your own but are not getting enough oxygen or getting rid of carbon dioxide. Unlike invasive mechanical ventilation, which connects to a tube down your throat, BiPAP delivers air through a mask to your mouth.
“Positive airway pressure” means that the device pushes air at a higher pressure into your airways, which include your nose, mouth, and windpipe (trachea). This high pressure keeps your airways open and can help move air in and out of your lungs.
