What are bedsores?
Bedsores can occur when a person is bedridden or otherwise paralyzed, unconscious, or unable to perceive pain. Bed sores are ulcers on the part of the skin that is under stress due to lying in bed, sitting in a wheelchair or wearing a cast for a long time.
