Sofra Tulle Dressing Pad
Sofra Tulle is a gauze dressing impregnated with the antibiotic Framycetin Sulphate. Sulphates belong to a group of drugs known as antibiotics. It is used to treat infected or potentially infected burns, wounds, ulcers, and skin grafts.
The Dressing Pad is used because the affected area or wound dries up quickly and there is no risk of infection. More effective for quick drying of the wound.
Framycetin is an antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group with broad antibacterial activity. Sulfate-sensitive organisms include Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, species, and some strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa; It is not active against yeasts, fungi, or viruses.
The dressing is used as the primary wound contact layer in the management of infected wounds, combining low adhesion with antimicrobial activity.
Product Description of Sofra Tulle
Sofra-Tulle can be used in the management of wounds, including minor traumatic injuries, ulcers, burns, and other wounds that are clinically infected with organisms that have been shown to be sensitive to framycetin and that dry the wound very quickly. Works great for healing cuts or bruises.
In general, on wounds we use a Dressing Pad to get better results than ordinary gauze and povisep.
